Land and Historical Communities Acknowledgment 

IncLuusive acknowledges that it operates on the traditional and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People, known as Mi’kma’ki. This territory includes all of what is now Nova Scotia and extends beyond provincial boundaries. The company recognizes the enduring presence, rights, and sovereignty of the Mi’kmaq and affirms that we are all Treaty People, bound by the responsibilities and relationships outlined in the Peace and Friendship Treaties.

 

IncLuusive also honors the vibrant and resilient communities of African Nova Scotians, who have lived on these lands for over 400 years. From historic Black Loyalist settlements to present-day communities, African Nova Scotians continue to face systemic inequities rooted in colonialism and anti-Black racism. The company acknowledges the strength, culture, and contributions of these communities and recognizes the ongoing need to dismantle systemic barriers and anti-Black racism.
